Whose Line Is It Anyway ? - #17

Today marks a significant day in my life. Today was the last day of my son Sanjay's preschool. He will stepping into public school next month. I cannot believe he has grown big enough to "graduate" from a school..even if thats PreSchool. While my wife and I were having mixed emotions, he seems unfazed probably too young to think about these things.

Continuing with his exploits...
Sanjay was really amused by the way his Pre-K teacher addresses him sometimes with a "Mr" prefix and the girl students with a "Miss" Prefix. He wanted to extend the idea with a subjective surnames for members at his home as well. This what he came up with -
For me, its Mr. Computer, Mr. Video, Mr. "Listen",  His mom would become "Ms. Activity" as she keeps giving him reading/writing activity all the time. My mom, his grandma, would be become "Ms. Sleep" and he crowned himself "Mr. Play, Mr. Snack"..

During the past few months we have been getting a fair bit of stuffs from Amazon which arrive through USPS and sometime we have to pick it up from Post Office. I used to take my son sometimes with me. One such time on our way back home, we were talking about the Post Office. Thats when I came to know what his idea of PO is -  "a place where they give us things we need. they put in a box and pack it nicely"

Recently Sanjay was bit down in cheers because it was time for his grand parents (my inlaws) to leave for India after their trip. He asked why they should leave now. We mentioned that it was written in their visa that they can stay only for 6 months and that 6mo is getting over. After a contemplative pause, he questioned "Is that written in Pen or Pencil ?" Curious, we asked why. "If it is in Pencil, we can erase it" - came the reply.

In Today's pic, you can see his little sister holding his pinky finger..

Our Second Bundle of Joy

Today marks one month of the arrival of our Second bundle of joy - exactly a month ago, same time, we were blessed with our second child -  a beautiful girl - Maanasi. Since we are now better equipped as to what to expect and what not to miss, the past one month has been blissful just watching her even though she has been sleeping for most part of the day.

This little one, unlike her brother, chose her own birthday, that too 10 full days ahead of when she was due. I will publish the pics of her later. But for today's pic, she is holding my hand with her adorable little fingers.
